FAQ from Hirers
General Questions
-
Hiring tech talent is time-consuming and not easy. For every talent hired, you probably have to reach out to dozens of candidates, scan through all their resumes and CVs, administer and check through dozens of technical assessments and conduct numerous culture and technical fit interviews with candidates.
As it's a technical role, it is likely that a technical team member has to spend time reviewing the work and conducting the technical interviews.
Time spent assessing and interviewing other candidates mean that the technical team member is not doing what they were hired to do: work on solving engineering problems.
Skilledd greatly reduces the effort and time needed by being able to surface up great talents that are technically assessed to meet the technical standards required by you. We also aim to determine if the person could fit culture-wise with you and your team.
All these are presented to you in a quick and easy to understand talent profile, where you can easily indicate interest whether or not to interview this candidate.

Most talent marketplaces are looking to push as many resumes and talents for you to interview based on the role(s) you need.
However, they tend to leave out the tedious and challenging process of technically and culturally assessing candidates. This means that you will be able to get dozens of resumes and CVs, but you will still have to spend a lot of time and effort to scan through all the resumes and CVs, assess and verify that the candidates have the skills and conduct numerous interviews before making a decision.

Process Questions

Candidates sign up to Skilledd and is prompted to go through a process of sharing their information, their job preferences as well as the roles they can perform and skills that they have.
Candidates are then prompted to do various assessments to verify their skills. This is then shown on their profile, which is designed in a way to also guide them where they need to improve to meet the demands that the hiring market needs.
Candidates with skill profiles that matches a job opening will be asked to undergo a video/audio interview with Skilledd's Talent Assessors, where they are profiled even further on their communication skills, culture-fit preferences and technical understanding and skills.
Only candidate whom we believe meets the standards of the hiring company will be recommended/matched.
